Food and hospitality reside within the heart of every culture and every meaningful social engagement, connecting and unifying us across time and space.
In the transition to socially distanced societies, our contact with one another at intimate meals, celebratory drinks, and festive feasts took a real hit—while the astonishing and heroic resilience of food providers quickly became even more apparent.
Restaurants around the globe transformed to keep the rest of us safe, fed, and most of all—human. If we could still enjoy a distanced meal from our favorite restaurants, we could still connect to our memories and hopes for a better time.
Meanwhile, the use of QR code menus accelerated. It brought home how convenient this technology is and gave all of us a first look into the future of dine-in menus.
But it also revealed its limitations. With our backgrounds in technology and design, and genuine passion for international cuisines and local businesses, we innately understood the difficulties guests had and realized the hardship and complications this shift meant for restaurants and bars. Commissioning a new, stand-alone digital menu site drains resources that oftentimes aren’t available—especially during and after a pandemic.
So we came up with a better, higher quality, and affordable method for creating and accessing professional mobile menus—something that isn’t a temporary fix, but an evolution of—and a new foundation for—contactless QR code menus.
Introducing Nuu: a state-of-the-art application offering a broad selection of customizable, professionally designed mobile menus for restaurants and hospitality establishments of all types and sizes. Menus that—like exquisite platings—make an impression and invite guests back to their favorite restaurants.
We’re working to do our part in supporting the transition back to a safe, healthy world, and leading the transformation to seamless and beautiful digital menu creation. The future of contactless menus is already unfolding, and we’re looking forward to rolling out more exciting features.
Stay tuned and explore the future of mobile menus with us!
